It also enables support for macOS 11 Big Sur on Intel and Apple M1 based Macs (see M1 note just below). This Fix Pack will correct several known problems with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. It is recommended that all Mac SPSS 26 users install it. IBM Technical Support has released IBM SPSS Statistics Fix Pack 26.0.0.2 for Macintosh. But if the release number is 26.0.0.0 or 26.0.0.1, it has not been applied, and you should apply it now. If you see Release 26.0.0.2 in the ensuing screen, this fix pack has already been applied. If unsure whether you need it, launch SPSS, then in the SPSS Statistics menu select About SPSS Statistics. The fix pack is included in that installation file and is applied when you install SPSS 26.
You MIGHT NOT need this fix pack: If you obtained your SPSS 26 installation file from the Technology Services download site on or after March 23, 2021, then you do not need this fix pack.
